Couples

Another Kiss

Couples is an ongoing series that I started in an attempt to replicate the photographic styles of Edward Weston. His style of nudes creates a sense that there are not models as the subjects, but more of an object. He had an excellent use of soft lighting and gray tones to make the viewer forget that they are looking at nude models. I attempt to make the viewer forget that they are viewing dolls by giving a sense of emotion to the photographs. It is my intent to create images that can be viewed without the sense of looking at inanimate dolls.
