.Curriculum Vitae.
Education....
I studied history and classics at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois. The small college atmosphere inspired me to take the opportunity to utilize the art facilities. This is where my influences of history and art coincided. My liberal arts education gave me a well-rounded outlook on life and my small college experience gave me opportunity to explore artistically.

Why Photography....
Since my youth I wanted to be artistic. I have always had a creative mindset, just not a steady hand. When I had the opportunity to obtain a Pentax 35mm film camera, I instantly loved photography. Photography gave me the ability to be creative without having to paint, draw, or sculpt with a steady hand.
